Joanne Clare Smith and Kane Richard Farabaugh, both of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, were married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Trafalgar Park in Standlynch, Wiltshire, England. Wiltshire County Registrar Celia Wood officiated.
Parents of the couple are Michael and Linda Smith of Verwood, Dorset, England, and Richard and Janet Farabaugh of Carnegie, Pa., formerly of Marseilles.
Bridesmaid was Ashley Farabaugh of Pittsburgh, formerly of Marseilles, sister of the groom.
Best man was Daniel Millbauer of Fort Bragg, N.C. Groomsmen were Matthew Wrobel of Boston, formerly of Ottawa, and Richard Marincic of Los Angeles, formerly of Ottawa.
Witnesses were Simon Smith of Bognor Regis, England, brother of the bride, and Shobha Kassell of Bournemouth, England, aunt of the bride.
Reader was Andrew Kassell of Bournemouth, uncle of the bride.
The reception took place at Trafalgar Park dining hall. A reception also will take place in November at the Wyndham in Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Queen Elizabeth's Upper School in Wimborne, Dorset, England, and a 1996 graduate of Bournemouth and Poole College of Further Education in Bournemouth, where she studied business administration. She is employed as a product development officer with BNP Paribas Securities Services in Frankfurt.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Ottawa Township High School and a 1996 graduate of Defense Information School, where he studied radio and television broadcasting. He is employed as a senior producer and correspondent for the American Forces Network Europe.
Following a wedding trip on the Queen Mary 2 in the Caribbean, they are residing in Frankfurt.
